Arizona
Installation

Arizona is a digital animation in the form of an immersive moving painting. The imagery derives from a satellite imag of Arizona obtained from the United States Geological Survey. My intention with this piece was to saturate the still photograph with movement and life, allowing the the viewer to become lost in the full sublime and drama of the image and forget about proportion and the human form. Radiating with geographical beauty, the textured map reveals its own story of growth and transformation- color, in full spectrum, beaming over decades of time.
