Micro Multiples
Photography, Animation, Book Design

Visual experiments using biological specimens culminating in the creation of a 7 x 7 artist book and a one minute experimental animation. All the images were captured using micro-imaging techniques from microscopic samples sourced from the Edna Laurence Nature Lab. The book is visually organized by the categories of mammals, plants, vertebrates, and invertebrates. Both projects serve as a comprehensive investigation of the obscure colors and shapes undiscoverable to our human eye.
